As a German American, I was practically born with intercultural expertise. In addition, my many years of professional experience in both Germany and the United States fortified my expertise in bilingual services.

I feel at home on both sides of the Atlantic: born in warm California and raised in Berlin, I also live in a bilingual family. As a trained educator and having studied English by correspondence at the University of Cambridge, I was well-prepared for my professional work in the USA from 1997 to 2001 and was able to deepen my professional experience in new fields of activity. Here I worked in a child and adolescent psychiatric clinic and as an event manager in the child and youth recreational center of the US Army.

This professional polish also allowed me to use my intercultural skills back in Germany. I additionally deepened these with the XPERT Master and Trainer certification for intercultural competency.

Since 2008, I have turned my passion for the English language into my profession and am the owner of McK-B, an English office support office. In addition to translations and individual English coaching for all age groups, I support clients from advertising, IT, commerce, and culture in their internal organization and external communication and would like to support you as well.
